He lets the guy go as soon as his hunger is soothed, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. "Sorry," he mutters, trying to fade back into the shadows.
He kneels next to the cat, offering his hand for it to smell. "Hey there, little guy." If it lets him, he'll scratch its head.
