"Better to conserve bullets anyway, with a bunch of us jumpin' around." Catherine inspects the rifles and carbines before passing them out. "Don't worry too much about aiming for the head. If you're knocking chunks out of them it slows 'em down and that's all we need." She pulls out a pair of Chinese machetes and inspects one before limbering up her wrist with it.
Jen has gone quiet, frowning thoughtfully, but then nods slowly. "If not sleepy then slowed down lots at least. I can do that."
